Kyoko will play in the new Dorama "Tenchijin" in 2009. This Dorama is from the taigara Drama series. Among the roles named were Shun Oguri (as Ishida Mitsunari), Kyoko Fukada (as Yodo-Dono), Yu Shirota (as Sanada Yukimura), and Yusuke Kamiji (as Kobayakawa Hideaki)

New Dorama "Gakko ja Oshierarenai!"
Kyoko will appear in a new Dorama called "Gakko ja Oshierarenai!" together with Shosuke Tanihara in the leading role. The still-untitled series takes place at a girls’ high school which starts accepting boys. Fukada’s character launches a club to teach her students ballroom dancing.
Aired will be this Dorama at 15/07/2008 on ntv japan.

As the rumors were finally confirmed, Kyoko will play the role as Doronjo in the new Anime adaptation of "Yatterman". The Takashi Miike movie will be start shoot in march and supposed to release in spring 2009.

In the new Dorama "Galileo" which one is broadcasted since the 15th October in Japan on Fuji TV, Kyoko will have a guest appearance in the 7th epsiode as Shizuko. The series includes 10 episodes and was aired up to the 17th December.

At 11th January 2008 the first Kyoko Dorama for the next year called " Mirai Koshi Meguru (未来講師めぐる)" will be released, with what her 12th Year of Kyoko Doramas will start since her first one in 1997 (FIVE). The script for this Comedy Dorama was originally written by Kankuro Kudo, who was responsible for series like Tiger& Dragon, Ikebukuro West Gate Park and Kisarazu Cat's Eye. Kyoko plays the role of an english teacher in a "cramer school", which awakes at her 24th birthday of a new force. She can see the 20 years in the future of all people around her.The whole thing will be aired on TV Asahi and promises already a funnier story than the last Kyoko dramas.

On 25th November a Dorama Special called "Aoi Hitomi to Nuage (蒼い瞳とニュアージュ)" will be aired on WOWOW, in which Kyoko plays the main role. She plays the character of Erika Ichinose, a clinical psychologist, that is recruited by the National Police Agency to stay one step in front of a bomb-terrorists.The character, whom she plays, is a total departure from the cute and crazy characters she played before. HORIPRO hopes Kyoko to develop in a more matured actress. The Dorama is based on a novel by Keisuke Matsuoka. To further TV-Termin is still not known, but we keep you up to date.

New September Dorama "Ikiru"
Together with Koshiro Matsumoto, Kyoko will appear at 9th September of this year in the new Dorama "Ikiru (生きる)" aired on TV Asahi. This Dorama based on the same film by Akira Kurosawa of 1952 "Ikiru (once really live).
The Dorama deals with the story of a department manager in the management of a city hall, who figures out that he has a stomach cancer and therefore notberufung sehen in long to live. The inner calling tells him to assist in a recreational park for children.

On 28th June the world premiere of "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was broadcast in the premiere in Tokyo. Many fans from all over Japan traveled in Harry Potter Cosplay Costums to see Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter. On the red carpet moved many stars, including Kyoko, with an interesting dress, along with Nori Horikita.
